I made this Homemade Monster High Cake for my cousin’s 7th birthday party. I used the over the hill (Wilton) cake pan. I covered the words over the hill with icing. I just wanted the tombstone look for the cake that I was doing.
I made marshmallow fondant that I used for the skulls and banner. I used 3 cake mixes for the whole party. I used a Wilton cookie pan with various Halloween items on it to make my molds for the skulls on the cupcakes. I just cut off the teeth part from the skulls and added black sparkling gel for the eyes and nose.
I used a toothpick to make the eyelashes on the skull and icing for the bow. The colors were chosen from the party cups and plates.
