Coolest Monster Truck Birthday Cake

I made this Monster Truck Birthday Cake for my grandson’s 5th birthday. He loved it. I used two box cakes. Out of each box I got 1-9″ x 13″ and 1-6″round. Used a whipped cream frosting that was homemade to fill with. Made a homemade marshmallow fondant and colored it brown.

Place the two 9 x 13 cakes on top of each other and then placed the two 6″ round on top of each other on top of the 9 x 13 cakes. I frosted the whole thing. Then rolled out fondant and placed over whole cake and board I put it on. Used chocolate covered raisins as rocks and also rolled some fondant to look like rocks I placed around cake. Add green whipped frosting to look like grass.

I also used tires on truck to make it look like the trucks had been all over the cake. Luckily the trucks we used had a small hole in bottom that fit a small dowel that we used to hold them on the cake.

This was a very easy cake to make as you don’t have to make sure the fondant is smooth.
