Homemade Monster Truck Theme Cake
This Monster Truck Theme Cake was a fun cake to make for my grandson who loves Gravedigger Monster Truck. I made a sheet cake, covered it with chocolate frosting and crumbled chocolate chip cookies for the dirt. I made a small round cake for the hill.
I took a little piece of extra cake and made a jump for the cyclist. I sprinkled the entire cake with purple glitter. I purchased all the accessories, mounted the monster truck on a dowel. The dowel was secured with a metal flower arranger nail. I covered it with foil and buried it in the cake. I made a billboard of my grandson and his dad from a photo taken at Monster Truck Jam for a backdrop. Since his birthday is around Halloween, I found the skull and bones candy to sprinkle on the table. He was pretty thrilled with it. He then had the toys on the cake to play with.
