This Motocross cake was made for a friend of our’s who loves to ride dirt bikes; since I also love riding I really enjoyed making this cake!
I started off making a 2 layer 1/2 sheet cake and just used a white base frosting. I also baked a loaf cake which I carved the jumps, berms, and number plate out of. Then I just frosted everything and left the ‘track’ rough so it looked more like dirt. I used the grass texture in the middle and placed a model dirt bike on the cake.
It turned out much larger than I had planned but it was a big hit!
