Homemade Music Note Cake
I created this Music Note Cake using the Wilton sports ball pan (half of it!) and cut portions of a square cake to make the rest of the note. I tinted my buttercream icing with Wilton black tint and used edible silver candies to add a little pizazz!
I used more of the icing to decorate the board around with some notes and treble clefs! This was made for part of a fundraiser to send kids to a music camp! Everyone enjoyed it (and promptly checked their teeth)! I came up with the idea while trying to think of fun ways to use my Wilton sports ball pan! There are so many ways to use it and I am having a great time coming up with new ways all the time!
The black icing is always a hit! People are always asking "How did you get it so black?"! I love seeing peoples faces when they see a fun cake and love hearing the reviews when they dig in!
