Donatello Ninja Turtle Cake

This Ninja Turtle cake is just a flat cake that was baked in a rectangular cake pan and decorated. We cut the shape of the shell and the feet are cupcakes. It was a gift to my friend on her 15th birthday. Donatello is the best Ninja Turtle and I think that she agreed. It was delicious.

To make it look like a shell, you just have to dye white icing two different types of green. The easiest way to make the lines is to make parallel lines of different sizes on the top of the shell. Then you connect them with diagonal lines and it looks like a turtle shell.

The headband was important because it was purple like Donatello's.
