Homemade Over The Hill Cake

I recently started making cakes for fun. I was asked to do my uncle's 40th birthday cake. I got inspiration from some other over the hill cakes on this site and other web sites.

The cake is 2 13x9 cakes with a layer of cream cheese frosting in the middle. I have a GT Express machine that I made the hill out of, bonded them together with icing and used icing to "glue" it to the cake.

I left a place for the 2 graves without icing and used a fork to pick up the cake to make it appear as dirt.

The tombstones are peanut butter flavored candy melts. The writing was done with Wilton cookie writers. Next time I will use black for the writing.

Pretty good for a first try for an over the hill cake!
