Homemade Peep and the Big Wide World Cake
This cake was for my son's 4th birthday because it was his favorite show. We looked online for a picture he liked then I printed it out at the size I needed for the cake. I cut out the shapes of the characters and then cut the pieces out of a square cake.
I made 4 9x13 cakes for this, 2 for the base and 2 for the characters. Quack was one cake, and the rest of the characters out of the other. The egg I did sculpt into a rounded shape. I iced the base of the cake in the grass colour and then placed the character pieces on top. I iced them, outlined them and used licorice for the beaks.
