I actually first saw this pencil and paper cake on your site, but it was just a pencil on a sheet of paper that said ‘back to school.’ I thought it was cute and I wanted to try and make the paper.
So I made a sheet cake and a rectangular one. After they were cooled, I frosted the sheet cake with white Duncan Hines frosting and added blue and pink lines. Then I cut a corner off and used it as the point for the pencil.
I frosted the point with brown frosting and added a pink eraser and yellow body. Then I added the word ‘smile’ to the sheet cake and put the pencil where the corner was cut off on the sheet cake.
