This was made by me for my friend’s daughter’s birthday. She requested a homemade Peppa pig cake for the theme.
It is sponge cake filled with jam and buttercream. I baked 2 rectangular cakes and then carved the shape from a picture I used off the internet.
I used roll out fondant, and coloured it as needed.
This was a great cake to make, really happy with it.

Sorry i forgot to add that i used a template to cut the cake out, iced it using regalice and i coloured it to suit using special colours purchased from a craft shop.
the crown was an individual cake i made separately and added on to the top, was much easier to do that way.
again i did the same with the wings, they were quite tricky to get right because of the shape.
i wanted to add some sparkles to it but i couldn’t get any at the time!
really enjoyed doing this cake, ive had many requests for this cake since!!
