Homemade Pink In the Night Garden 1st Birthday Cake
To make this Pink In the Night Garden 1st Birthday Cake, I first made the models for the cake, as this was the most time consuming part. If you would like advice on how I did this I will happily answer questions! I then made a vanilla sponge cake, filled with buttercream and jam. I then covered the cake with regal ice icing. I mixed white and pink icing until I reached the desired colour and covered the cake.
I then iced a cake board and finished with ribbons, glitter and figures. This was my very first attempt at cake decorating and it was my daughter's first birthday cake, the most important thing was she enjoyed it. Hope you guys like it too.
