Homemade Pink Princess Birthday Cake

Homemade Pink Princess Birthday Cake

My grand baby wanted a Pink Princess Birthday Cake for her 3rd birthday. I used the Wilton doll pan/mold and two 9 inch rounds. This was the first time I used fondant. I used Wilton's ready to roll fondant.

The cake is a white chocolate cake with a strawberry buttercream frosting. I used the Cake DR's white chocolate cake recipe and her strawberry buttercream frosting recipe too. I started baking at 9 am and had it finished same night at 6 pm. Sheesh, I tried making one of these by piping stars all over it and hated every minute. This was far more fun.

I think I like your cake the best because it is more purportedly correct the doll body fits the cake size
and the detail is awesome it like my own.
