Homemade Pirate Birthday Cake
I made this Pirate Birthday Cake for a customer. She said the theme was Pirates and left the rest up to me. The cake is Half Chocolate cake and half white cake. I used a box cake mix and added a few secret ingredients to make it taste almost homemade.
I just used a butter cream icing colored with blue icing for the base color. I then free handed the flag on. I purchased the eye patches, coins and earing at a local party store. I used brown sugar for the sand and a treasure chest candle for the final accent. This cake was fun to make and was really easy.
