Homemade Poker Table Birthday Cake

I used two 8" square cake pans. The cake was banana nut made from scratch, but one box of cake mix can be used. After I split and filled the cakes I put the Poker Table Birthday Cake in the refrigerator.

A few hours later I carved one corner of the cake to round it off. I iced the cake with green buttercream icing. The cigar, cards, poker chips, and other details were made from gumpaste. The cards, cigar and poker chips were made days in advanced so that they could harden. I added details to the cards and poker chips with edible markers.
