Homemade Princess Barbie Doll Cake
This Princess Barbie Doll Cake was done for my goddaughter's 6th birthday as a birthday present from me to her. I used the Wilton cake mold and a 10 inch bottom layer and covered it in buttercream icing. I made the flower from fondant with royal icing in the center 2 days in advanced and let them harden over the next couple days and always did the same with the butterflies.
The day before I assembled it I covered the bottom layer first and put 4 wooded sticks in the center where the Barbie would sit and then placed the Barbie on a cake board and placed her on top of the cake and covered her dress and did the train and lastly just layered on all the flower and butterflies.
Totally worth all the work she loved it.
