Coolest Princess Cake

My 5yr old niece kept nagging me for a princess cake for her birthday, and this Princess Cake is the result. I made a normal sponge cake baked in a Pyrex round bowl. I inserted a legless doll in the top and then started the endless task of decorating lol. It took me 4 hours to decorate and get it perfect.

I used ready made pink icing, covered the cake completely and then cut out and shaped the tiers on her dress with edible glitter and purple daisies to decorate, what a nightmare but the look on my niece’s face I will never forget. It was perfect.

I have now named the cake after her lol, she now wants an Ariel cake, God help me!! I’ll keep you posted on how it goes.
