Coolest Princess Cake

I made this Princess Cake for my daughter’s 3rd Birthday. I got ideas off this site but in the end I made it my own. I started out with 2 boxes of Devil’s Food cake. I baked 1 cake in a Pyrex bowl (the larger one). It took about 1 box of cake and about 1/3 of another. I baked it at 325 for 1 1/2 hours. I then baked a 9in round cake. Let them both cool.

I then took the round cake and put it on the bottom of foil on my cake plate (I wanted a little sparkle and that is what I came up with). I iced it with white icing out of a can. I then added the bowl cake on top. Again I iced with the white icing. I let this sit over night.

Then next day I used the same white can icing and added blue food coloring (I had planned pink and purple when I started but a cute almost 3 year old asked for a “Cinderella” cake). I then used a size 16 tip and cover the cake with blue leaving the part next to her hips for white icing.

I started at the bottom and worked my way up.

I used a half of doll from the local craft store. I took her hair and pulled back and used my daughters doll’s crown for her head. I then added a little sparkle to her with cupcake sprinkles in sliver.
