Homemade Princess Castle Birthday Cake

I looked at lots of pictures on this sight and got lots of ideas from them for a Princess Castle Birthday Cake. I used a Wilton 12x12 pan for a two layer first level and a 10' round pan for the second level. I used Pringles cans for the towers covered in buttercream. The tops were waffle cones coated in buttercream and then rolled in colored sugar. I would have rather had cake sugar cones because the waffle cones weren't even and were hard to prop up.

I made royal icing drop flowers and leaves and stuck them all over the cake using buttercream as paste. You can't see it, but in the space between towers on the sides, I put royal frosting grass and decorated it with the flowers, too.

The princesses are made using chocolate in a Wilton mold.
