Homemade Princess Castle Birthday Cake

This homemade Princess Castle birthday card was very fiddly to make and took 18 hours in all to finish.

It was entirely made of jam sponge and butter cream. The pillars and frills were made from sugar florist paste, which is dificult to work with, and were finished off with edible glitter.
