Coolest Princess Castle Cake

A friend’s daughter, who was turning 7, was having a Princess Birthday Party and I was asked to make the Princess Castle Cake.

This is a vanilla cake with vanilla butter cream. The entire cake is edible except for the towers; the tops are ice cream cones. The flowers were made ahead with royal icing and textured fondant mats were used to give the castle a brick effect.
