Coolest Princess Castle Cake Design

I used Wilton’s castle kit for the main part of the Princess Castle Cake Design. I stacked two round cakes on top of a sheet cake. I placed dowel rods down the center, just in cake. I made the stone path and the shingles out of fondant. I rolled 3 balls out of fondant and placed on toothpicks for the trees.

The stream is tinted piping gel. I used icing to stick the shingles to the tops if the towers. This wasn’t easy and half ended coming off. That is why there is some tops missing, by the time I got to the party the shingles were off so I couldn’t use all the tops. For anyone that wants to use the castle kit, find a a way to make sure the towers stay next to the cake. I actually cut out part of the cake to place the towers in so they stay, but still didn’t work. If I would have known I would have tried to drill holes in the sides of the towers and put toothpicks or sucker sticks in the holes to hold to the cake.
