Coolest Princess Iman’s Castle Birthday Cake

This Princess Iman’s Castle Birthday Cake was fun to make and although it was my first project cake it was exciting. For the towers I used the flat bottom cones and iced two (bottoms) together. The tops were the bottoms of the ice-cream cones covered in butter icing. The towers were filled with marshmallows and surrounded with (stones) pink centies sweets.

The bottom half of the cake was a triple recipe sponge cake, made in an oven tray. The top round cake was a double recipe sponge cake made of two round sandwich tins. The whole cake is butter icing. Sprinkled with edible coloring glitter powder to give it that extra fairytale look (Fairydust). The Draw Bridge and windows are made from pink wafer biscuits. Everything is edible except for the photo, banner and toothpicks.
