Purse Cake

I made this purse cake for my daughter's 2nd birthday. I originally had a ladybug made but messed it up. So I decided a purse would probably be easier.

I cut a round cake in half, stacked them side by side and filled it with buttercream to hold together. Then I made marshmallow fondant to cover. This was my first time using it. It was a little tricky. I had my older daughter and niece helping create the details. We only had a couple hours to get it done.

I think it looks pretty good considering.
