Homemade Purse Cake

I am new at making cakes. I just love doing them. I am currently taking the course 1 Wilton class. I made the purse cake because someone asked if I could, so I did it and had fun doing it. I made some mistakes but in the end it turned out very cute.

First I made 9in layers and put them in the fridge for a day. I took it out of the fridge and cut it to shape. I made buttercream icing, pink and chocolate icing. I put ribbon on it for the handles and iced the cake pink and used chocolate poke dots.

It was not that hard to do. I made the necklace and bracelet out of white buttercream. I had a great time making this cake. I hope everyone enjoys looking at it as well.
