I made this Rapunzel Birthday Cake for a friend’s little girl that was turning 7. She loves Rapunzel and the movie Tangled. This cake was 3 8inch 2 layer cakes. I decorated each with gray fondant then I used a stencil to make the rock formation onto each layer. The top was a 10inch 2 layer cake which again was covered in gray fondant then I cut out the windows from white fondant and used black fondant to outline each window.
Rapunzel’s face was made out of fondant as well and her hair was put on after the cakes were stacked. The roof was made out of cereal treats I sat on a 10inch cake round and formed a cone type shape. After forming I covered in chocolate and placed in the freezer to harden then I covered it in gray fondant as well. After the cake was stacked I piped flowers and vines with royal icing to add color and make it more girly.
