Homemade Roller Coaster Cake

I made a roller coaster cake for my mom's friend's son who loves roller coasters. I made the roller coaster out of gumpaste molded on flexible cardboard which was taped onto the back of the pan I planned to use for the cake. I allowed it to harden for several days. I iced it in green buttercream and piped a blue shell border (also buttercream) around the edges.

I then placed the roller coaster on top added supports out of giant pixie stick tubes, made a paper sign and wrote happy birthday
