Homemade Roller Skates Cake
I used a Texas Pete Chili Can to make the shaft of the skate and I used the top of that cake that rounded as it baked for the toes. I used a really dense pound cake for the skates, the sheet cake is strawberry marble and the wheels are chocolate covered doughnuts.
I covered the entire cake in fondant I colored myself. The letters and stars were cut out of fondant.
