This cake was for my little cousin’s 11th bithday. She wanted a Luau Theme party. The sand is crushed Gram Crackers. We colored the icing on the cake a tan color and then pressed the gram cracker onto the cake. The shells are made out of white and peanut-butter chocolate. The points on the corners where ice-cream cones and we put icing on them then pressed gram cracker into them. The top of the cake was made by baking the cake in a clay pot. The water is just edible gel. The cake was a hit at the party and the birthday girl loved it. Such a simple cake to do!
