Homemade Sesame Street Birthday Cupcakes

I got the idea for making the Sesame Street Birthday Cupcakes from another cupcake submission on this website. I used mainly the same things like marshmallows for Elmo and Cookie's eyes, Oreos for the mouths, etc.

However, for Bert & Ernie's ears I used Spree candies. I also put some cupcakes with "1" on them since my son was turning one. My favorite part was the presentation by using the cupcake stand with the Sesame Street sign on top with the "Happy Birthday" wish on it.

Sign Idea

I am not sure how this sign was made, but I know that Cricut has a Sesame Street cartridge and one of the options is the sign. I am guessing you could personalize the sign to fit your needs. Just an idea.....and I love the variety of Sesame Street friends that were made. Very attractive!
