Coolest Sesame Street Cupcake Tower

My daughter gets 2 cakes every year. An elaborate one for her party at home, and a simple one to bring to school. This year for her 5th birthday, she had a Princess Jasmine’s Arabian Castle Cake for her party, and Sesame Street cupcakes for school.

I baked a 6 inch cake for cutting, accompanied by 36 cupcakes. The 6-inch cake was covered with blue fondant and a name plate was fashioned to resemble the Sesame Street sign. Then the Wilton Sesame Street cake toppers were simply placed on top.

For the cupcakes, I kept the colour scheme consistent with the 6-inch cake – blue, green and yellow. Cupcake rings were placed on top of the swirls.

This cupcake tower is really easy to put together. Basic designs made attractive by the colourful toys. The kids loved it!
