Ski Cake
I made this ski cake for a cake auction and it won the highest bid! The auction was for my son's boy scout troop. I used a round ball cake pan and another metal mixing bowl to make the three hills.
I used 2 boxes of funfetti cake mix. The frosting is store bought white frosting. I dyed some green and used a grass tip for the trees. I made the race course from toothpicks and tape flags (office supply). I found marshmallows that were shaped like trees and lined them up in frosting.
The lodge is made from graham crackers and graham sticks that I frosted together. The skiers are just piped with colored icing.
