Homemade Snake Cake

I'm an Au Pair and I made this snake cake for Jade on her third birthday. She is really in to pink, but I couldn't find any food colour at the markets.

This cake is made from two chocolate cakes, with a filling of white chocolate/lemon butter cream. On the top I put a layer of whipped cream, and over that a white home made marshmallow fondant. I coloured some of the fondant with raspberry juice and some with cacao, and cut out some stars from it. The tongue is a sour candy stripe and the eyes are Malteesers.

She was happy with it and even the grown ups at the party enjoyed it.
