My grandson has gone gaga over the Seven Dwarfs, and that was all he wanted for his 3rd birthday cake. He is still giving thanks for it when he says the blessing at the dinner table.
The cake recipe I used for this Snow White and Dwarfs cake is a dense pound cake from the following web address: http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Moms-Margarine-Cake/Detail.aspx
The base cake is a 16″x20″ (took 2 recipes of the cake to fill). Dopey is sitting in a rolled fondant wagon, and the witch is fondant. The pathway is crushed graham crackers lined with fondant “rocks.”
We got the dwarfs from a seller on Ebay, as we did have a bit of trouble finding them.
This was a fun cake to make, and I hope all who attempt it will get the same results I did.

I love the cake but I am having the same problem I want it, but impossible to find the figurines.
The figurines are easy to find in any Disney Store. I have also found them in sets from different Disney movies at Target for $10.
