Coolest Snow White Castle Cake

The towers were little cakes made in little baked bean tins (ones without ringpulls make it easier to get cake out), and stacked 4 high, stuck together with butter icing. To ice them, wrap the icing around, rather than put over the top.

Gather the top icing into a bit of a point, to help prevent the ice cream cones falling off.

Window detail can be added by sticking on cut out shapes of icing, or by pressing into the icing.

The walls of the Snow White castle cake were made out of gingerbread, with windows cut out and filled with boiled sweets to make stained glass effect.

Don’t erect till the day of the party, otherwise biscuit goes soggy and sags!

Half cocktail sticks hold the biscuits in place on the inside of the castle. Grass is coloured coconut and path is chocolate stars, but coloured sugar or chocolate stands would also work well.

Flags are paper and cocktail stick, then Snow White, bluebirds and squirrels I got from daughter’s toy box.
