Homemade Spa Lady Cake

Homemade Spa Lady Cake

I made this Spa Lady cake for my daughter's 9th birthday party. I used one box of cake mix and divided it into two round cake pans (9" and 8", using the smaller for the top). I placed the smaller cake above the larger. I trimmed off the bottom round edge, so the pieces would be flush against each other.

I used white icing to ice the face of the cake. I spread it on thick to resemble a cold cream face max (could also tint it green). I iced the towel on top of the head with pink icing using a cake decorating bag and large star tip to make swirls, for texture. I added the lips with the same pink, then added cucumber slices for the eyes.

It was so easy to make and was perfect for the Spa Party.

I am glad I saw this. I have been making cakes for about 2 years. Since my sons 1st bday. I have had no classes I just make cakes. Anyway, my birthday is next month and I am having a Spa party so I decided to just do it in conjunction with my bday, so I am going to make this cake. It is a little easier than the others and it is adorable!
Thanks for sharing!

This is an adorable cake - what a great concept! The colors really pop, as well! Can't wait to try this one for my mother's upcoming birthday...
