Spiderman Cake

I made the Spiderman cake for my son's 6th birthday. He is a big Spiderman fan and didn't want a cake with a spiderman image, but a cake with a "real" Spiderman on it.

So I made a chocolate cake, covered it with chocolate and drew a Spiderman net on it.
Then I started coloring fondant red an blue and formed the Spiderman figure. The head was held by a toothpick because it was too heavy.
The lines on the face and suit are made of melted chocolate, so are the eyes of the spider on back of the suit. ( I used an image of Spiderman to draw the lines on the face right)

Even though the body is not perfect, it was quite a bit of work to get it shaped like this! ( but even quite a lot of fun!)
