Homemade Spongebob Birthday Cake

I made this Spongebob Birthday Cake for my daughter's birthday and she loved it. It looks harder than it was to make. I used three 9x13 cakes. I put two of them together side by side to make the body. I used the third cake to cut out the arms and legs.

The face of Spongebob was purchased from Walmart bakery and is made of wafer. I used frosting coloring to match the color of his face with the rest of his body. I used chocolate frosting for the brown on his pants and vanilla frosting for the white on his shirt. I used red frosting coloring for the tie.

The frosting is not home made I buy the tubs of frosting from the store. Both vanilla and chocolate. I outlined the wafer face with a yellow bead of frosting and mixed black frosting up from black frosting coloring for the black out line on the shirt and tie. This makes a lot of cake if you are going to have a lot of people at your party.
