Coolest Spongebob Birthday Cake Idea

I made this Spongebob Birthday Cake Idea for my nieces since their birthdays are like three days apart. They are both crazy about Spongebob! I baked the cake in a 13×9 pan and a smaller square pan. After I finished baking I cut the cake into sections and stacked on top each other filling in icing as I go until I got the height I wanted.

Then I cut into a shape of a square. I frosted the cake and let it chill. I colored some fondant yellow and rolled it out for the top part of his body. Then I rolled out liked two inches wide of white to fit his waiste and part of his bow tie. I rolled out blue for his pants, feet, eyes, and Gary the snail. I rolled out some yellow to make his arms and legs. Cut out white, blue, and black circles for the eyes. Used yellow fondant to to make cheeks, nose and legs. Then I used red fondant for his big smile, part of Gary, and bow tie. White for his teeth.

This was my finished product. I hope everyone understands what I wrote.
