Coolest Spongebob Squarepants Birthday Cake 154

I made this Spongebob Squarepants Birthday Cake for my son Joe's 9th birthday- he specifically requested I made a Spongebob cake, so as the panic set in I printed off a picture of Spongebob for me to copy.

I made two plain sponge cakes and cut them into shape, then filled then with raspberry jam and butter cream icing. I used the roll out icing (new to this so don't know correct name for it!) and cut out all shapes for mouth, tie etc. Arms and legs were the same icing, rolled into shape and used writing icing to finish off his sock etc.

Don't know who was more pleased with the result- me or Joe!!
