Homemade Spongebob Squarepants Cake
This Spongebob Squarepants cake was fairly simple to put together. 11 x 13 cake pan for the body, white icing colored yellow with food coloring, his arms are little debbies strawberry shortcakes with vanilla icing, his hands are made out of lady fingers, again icing.
The pants/top of his legs were cool. We made them out of Swiss rolls, mid leg was strawberry shortcakes. Once again icing then brownies for his shoes!
As for the eyes, mouth, tie and socks I cut out chunks of fruit roll ups and laid them on. This cake went over great for my sons 6th birthday. The kids loved that they could eat every last piece of it!
