I made this homemade Spongebob Squarepants cupcake cake for my friend who’s daughter was turning 10. This cake was very easy to make because I used cupcakes and Spongebob is square, so it required no cutting.
I dyed the frosting yellow for his body and chocolate frosting for his shorts. Used black frosting for outlining and details like eyelashes and necktie. It was a big hit at the birthday party.
I am in love with these cupcakes, they are so darn adorable! I’ve never thought about making them into cupcakes, because you don’t have to cut them like you would a cake. One question. Do you think you could try making a big bird one sometime. My son’s turning 3 and he loves big bird. I’ve tried to change his mind to something maybe easier, but he really wants bid that would honestly be awesome, because I always make the home aid cakes and I have no idea where to start, and I’m hoping you would try to do the big bird, and I looked up the Sponge Bob cake for my aunt, she loves Sponge Bob and I really wanted something she would be in love with, because I know this is the choice that will be very easy to make, hopefully I don’t mess up, because I’m not able to afford much redoing on this project I’m trying, but hopefully this with be a huge hit at the party.
