My best friend started competing in triathlons this year and she signed up for an upcoming Half Iron Man. This SpongeBob Triathlon Cake was for her birthday. It is the “Iron Sponge”.
Spongebob is starting out with swimming on one side of the triangle, biking on the other, and finishing by running across the bottom. The cakes were made with a 14 inch round for the bottom, and a small square pan cakes cut in half and stacked for the top.
They are covered in fondant that I colored. The characters were sculpted out of fondant as well.
