Homemade Spongebobs House Birthday Cake
I made this Spongebobs House Birthday Cake with a friend for her sister. It was for her 21st. I got the inspiration from a few cakes I'd seen on line.
I started by baking a normal sponge in a deep bowl for the main shape and made an extra 7inch sandwich to add added depth which I cut to the correct diameter and placed the bowl shape on top.
Everything on the cake was edible. The leaves are made out of flower paste, which I rolled out, cut and allowed to dry over kitchen paper to achieve the correct shape.
