Homemade Star Wars Battle Scene Cake

Homemade Star Wars Battle Scene Cake

I made this Star Wars Battle Scene Cake for my step son's 6th birthday. He loves helping design his cake each year and decided he wanted a battle scene. This was a simple cake as I just put 3 sheet cakes together (2 chocolate and 1 vanilla), made the icing by using food coloring to get the correct "star wars mud color", then used his millions of toys to create the battle.

The background was saved from toy packaging. I used some Oreo crumbles to make the ground more rock like. I used the quick "writables" icing tubes for the lettering. This was probably one of the easiest cakes I've made for him yet.
