Homemade Star Wars Lego Cake

I made this Star Wars Lego cake for a friend's son's 9th Birthday. He loved both Star wars and Lego.

I had the picture transferred to rice paper, and then made a 12x12" cake. I smooth iced the top, then using 4 different colours I piped the blocks on the side of the cake, finishing off the top edge by piping in the block "dots".

very nice. i made one similar but probably easier with lego candies from a bulk candy store.
