Homemade Star Wars Millennium Falcon Cake
This Star Wars Millennium Falcon Cake was a cake I did for my son, Sam's, 6th birthday. He wanted a Star Wars fighter cake, so I did the Millennium Falcon. I also made a C3PO and an R2D2, although, I must say, he was right in telling me they were pretty bad!
The cake was carved and then covered in fondant and painted with silver luster dust and a bit of vodka before hand piping the details in white buttercream. It took more time to pipe than it did to bake and frost the cake! Besides the characters, though, he loved the cake.
