Homemade Stegosaurus Birthday Cake

My son asked for a Stegosaurus Birthday Cake for his third birthday. This is my first time making a 3D cake. I saw some cakes on this site for inspiration.

The body is made from putting two halves of a round cake together. For the head, I cut 1/3 of a round cake and then cut that in half and put it together. The tail and the feet were cut from the rest of it. The plates are gingersnaps and the spikes on the tail are Pocky sticks.
