Strawberry Shortcake

I made this Strawberry Shortcake for my daughter's 4th birthday. I used a Strawberry Shortcake doll styling head on top of a domed cake. It is a Strawberry cake with strawberry cream cheese frosting.

The bottom layer is yellow cake with cream cheese buttercream frosting sprayed purple with Wilton's color spray. The middle layer is a chocolate cake with a layer of chocolate buttercream covered by a layer of white buttercream then sprayed blue with Wilton's color spray.

I trimmed it all in strawberry buttercream frosting. I used Strawberry Shortcake dolls from McDonald's Happy Meals to accent it along with Wilton's Strawberry Shortcake candies and fresh strawberries. It was a big hit!
