Coolest Strawberry Shortcake Cupcakes

For these Strawberry Shortcake Cupcakes I made them in a cupcake pan, and placed them in pink and white polka dot cups. I made a very yummy strawberry buttercream, using an original buttercream frosting recipe, and adding in a cup of pureed strawberries and pink coloring. It was very yummy! I stuck little strawberry shortcake paper toppers in each cupcake (I got them from a party store), and then a fresh whole strawberry on each.
