This is a Sunflower Pot Cake made for our town’s auction to raise money for the church. This whole cake was edible except the ribbon. This is an 8″ round German chocolate cake iced with white frosting to hold the Monetta chocolate cream wafer sticks from Aldi’s in place to make the pot.
On top I crushed up Oreo cookies to make soil. I then made the sunflowers out of gumpaste and placed those on top of the pot. I put a ribbon around the bottom to give it decoration.
Very clean and impressive cake. Your gumpaste work is very good. Sunflowers look very real. Good job!!!!
